This is what you’ll be doing:
- Inspiring the next generation of software engineers, developers, coders and tech leaders;
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in technologies, such as new languages, libraries and frameworks;
- Designing and writing course material that you’ll teach to our trainees, juniors, mediors and seniors;
- Coaching and training our Trainees;
- Collaborating with your international colleagues!
So, what exactly does this look like?
Within 1 month you will
- Assist teaching some lectures;
- Propose some improvements to our course material through our interactive Teacher’s Assistant App.
Within 3 months you will
- Prepare some small workshops and teach a class together with your fellow teachers;
- Assess technical assignments to get a better understanding of the level of each course.
Within 6 months you will
- Write learning material and teach it to motivated learners;
- Be proud of the technical level of the students & Trainees you graduate;
- Introduce new frameworks and libraries to our Curriculum.
What we're hoping you'll bring with you:
- Have an affinity for developing high-quality and fun educational content;
- Experience with JavaScript, React, Redux, Node;
- Speak English fluently, since (almost!) all our classes are taught in English.
Extra bonus points for:
- Experience with newer or more advanced topics like Typescript, Functional Programming, GraphQL, Machine Learning, AI, Python, Data Science, UX Design;
- Speak Dutch.
